Mice for Sale

Our frozen mice are bred in a USDA licensed facility, with a constant flow of fresh air, clean drinking water, nutritious food and clean, dry bedding. We’re fanatical about animal health and nutrition..

Feeder mice are quickly and humanely euthanized; individually flash frozen with legs and tail tucked neatly under, then individually weighed and sorted into re-sealable frozen food bags and promptly shipped to your door. A healthy food source that’s high in nutritional value and robust in size.

Who are you feeding? King Snake

Perfect amount to get for my growing King

I am very happy I found Laynes Labs as the quality is incomparable. I also love being able to order in small batches when you know your snake will outgrow them.

Who are you feeding? An owl, various colubrids, crotalids, bullfrogs, turtles and more

Quality is always very high

The rats, mice, quail and chicks I buy always smell and appear clean and healthy. Clearly had a quiet end- no blood or trauma. Ships fast, always have stock. Worth every penny! I've been a customer since 2014.

Who are you feeding? house cat

Safely and reliably sates the mouse-bloodlust of my beloved cat, Ber

This is probably an unusual use case, but I purchase Layne Labs large feeder mice for my house cat, Ber. He’s a great mouser, and loves to hunt, but we live in a pretty densely-populated urban area without a yard, next to a road with constant traffic. Worse, Ber is the color of shadows and seems to think his nighttime invisibility grants him invincibility. While I’d love to give him a safe yard in which to commit rodenticide, I’m not able to yet. To appease Ber’s appetite for small mammal blood, we thaw a large feeder mouse for him every evening. It’s clearly the highlight of his day, and he spends the whole thaw time (and ample time before) demanding his mouse. Layne Labs is the only supplier I’ll source from. Their USDA-licensed facilities are clean, safe, and consistently free of disease, unlike some of their competitors (even some highly-frequented ones). I’ve purchased from them for several years and have never once had a problem with my order. The mice always arrive completely frozen, individually separate (not in a big solid block of iced meat), clean, and the correct size/quantity. They are excellently-packaged and usually generously-sized within their weight range. And I appreciate that they dispatch their rodents much more humanely than my adorable little mouse-murderer probably would. After years of patronage, I have nothing but praise for Layne Labs. They’ve earned my trust and the approval of my discerning furry rodent-killing-machine, Ber. I recommend them without reservation.
