Preparation and Feeding Instructions:

Do not handle reptile before offering feeder.
Always feed reptiles separately.
Place rodent bag in warm water until thawed. Do not microwave.
When completely thawed, grasp the feeder with tongs and present to reptile.
Feeding response may be encouraged by wiggling rodent.
Release feeder when reptile strikes and acquires.
Avoid the risk of bites: Always wash hands after handling feeder rodents.
Never prepare or store frozen feeders where human food is prepared, stored, or consumed.

Who are you feeding? Western Hognose snake

Picky Hognose approved

After hissing at pet store pinkies, our new pal Sneaky found the Layne Labs large pinkies to his liking. The mice arrived quickly, were well-wrapped and still very frozen upon delivery. They appear healthier than the ones I’d picked up from the pet store, and I’m assuming were not handled with bare hands like the pet store ones were, important when new smells can be enough to turn off a picky Hognose. The Layne Labs pinkies are also about half the price of the ones at my local pet shop, including shipping. Sneaky and I are happy customers.

my bp loves the hopper mice!

They were great quality and looked much better than the petco ones i’ve been buying. My guy is a great eater and took it right away! I definitely will be buying all my mice and rats from here from now on!

Who are you feeding? a host of hognose snakes

Clean, Consistent, Humane and Reliable

I have tried a few rodent delivery companies for my western hognose collection and Layne exceeds them all. The feeders are the cleanest I have seen. They are are not covered in urine and feces and the sizes are reliably consistent. In addition i truly appreciate the care they give their animals.
