Feeder mice are quickly and humanely euthanized; individually flash frozen with legs and tail tucked neatly under, then individually weighed and sorted into re-sealable frozen food bags and promptly shipped to your door. A healthy food source that’s high in nutritional value and robust in size.

Preparation and Feeding Instructions:

Do not handle reptile before offering feeder.
Always feed reptiles separately.
Place rodent bag in warm water until thawed. Do not microwave.
When completely thawed, grasp the feeder with tongs and present to reptile.
Feeding response may be encouraged by wiggling rodent.
Release feeder when reptile strikes and acquires.
Avoid the risk of bites: Always wash hands after handling feeder rodents.
Never prepare or store frozen feeders where human food is prepared, stored, or consumed.

Well packed and consistent animal sizing

I've been ordering from Layne Labs for years solely because of how well they package the frozen mice. I'm also very happy with the reliably consistent sizing in rodents I order from them, which is key for some of the species I work with. When you order mouse hoppers, for instance, you get a specific size and weight range that you can depend on with no huge variance in animal sizing from bag-to-bag or within one bag. The best food for the best snakes

We breed only the highest quality snakes and Layne labs has by far the best frozen feeders we’ve found. In the past I have gotten very poor feeders from other breeders but now only use Layne. Saving a few bucks isn’t worth taking a risk with my animals or having to throw out suspect feeders. Laynes selection, sizing and service is excellent and consistent.
