All animals are raised on sight in our new 45,000 sq. ft. facility located in Arroyo Grande, California. With an emphasis on sanitation, nutrition, and a low stress environment, our laboratories are fully automated to control temperature, humidity, light cycles, and water availability. Every colony is cleaned and inspected daily. The result is a healthier animal, high in nutritional value and robust in size.

Animals destined for sale as frozen food are euthanized in a carbon dioxide chamber and frozen immediately. After they are completely frozen, they are sealed and stored properly to prevent freezer burn. All of our animals are individually frozen, with their tails tucked neatly under their body. This helps to insure that no urine or feces will be included when they are packaged. Both live and frozen orders are processed immediately and guaranteed to meet our customers’ satisfaction.
