Hopper mice are pre-weaned and may have their eyes open. Their average weight is 8 grams. Their age varies from 11-16 days old. Hopper mice are 2 1/4 inches long.

Preparation and Feeding Instructions:
- Do not handle reptile before feeding.
- Always feed reptiles separately.
- Place frozen mouse bag in warm water until thawed. Do not microwave.
- When completely thawed, grasp mouse with tongs and present to reptile.
- Feeding response may be encouraged by wiggling mouse.
- Release mouse when reptile strikes and acquires.
- Avoid the risk of bites: Always wash hands after handling feeder rodents.
*Frequency of feeding depends on the species. Please check with your vet or pet professional for advice.

UPS and Fedex orders: Orders shipped via UPS or Fedex are packed with dry ice into 2" molded EPS (Styrofoam) boxes. Orders are shipped either Monday or Tuesday and arrives in 1-2 days.
Common Carrier orders: Common Carrier orders refer to large orders weighing over 300 lbs. These orders are packed in cardboard boxes, placed on a pallet and then shipped by refrigerated/frozen truck. You must be in a location that can handle a 53' truck and trailer. Please call 800.809.9431 for a shipping quote when placing a large volume order.
Company Truck: Layne Laboratories offers deliveries by our company trucks throughout California. A minimum $15 charge will apply to all local deliveries. Call customer service to see if we deliver to your facility or address.
